In business, writing is all what it is about. If you have a good idea that you spent a good time studying and checking it then it is time to sell it. If you can put it on paper that is 80% of getting the approval of it. However, the most difficult thing is to write what you have in mind. What I experienced that people could talk for hours about ideas, thoughts, goals and projects but very few who could structure it and express it on a white plain paper.
Putting what you have in mind in written also applied on any personal thing. What ever things we have in mind, putting it on paper will solve most of the problem.
The thing is that people don’t like writing. I used to tell my kids two things: Read & Write. Read to be able to feed your brain, and Write to be able to be organized and clear. Write it and you will see it. But of course, kids don’t always follow their parents wants and that unfortunately will graw with them.. the lack of writing what in mind.
The good thing is that writing is a skill that people could learn and develope. Many books in the market teach how to be a good writer or how to write a proposal. Yes, it is little bit bulky and sophisticated but it is good to get the concept of writing. It is never too late, beside that it is a good skill when people get old!

I agree that writing is skill not all of people have it but in the same time I think everyone can create his own skill to view his own thoughts.
you said that you told your children about reading and writing, that’s good but kids like something tangible or more colorful to get the right expression for their thoughts. moreover, teenager may use their tang to say what ever thoughts moving inside their head. drawing, is another way to see thoughts. also, being in your favorite place may enhance the ability to stimulate the new ideas. these beside other technique may help others understanding their way in life. so, its up to you, man or woman, to decide what is the best way to get through the life using your own ideas.
Most of the time we tell others specially our children what we want them to do, why not letting them chose the way they like to express their feeling or thoughts.
All in all, writing is for sure a technique that everyone has to know about but not necessary follow.

Writing is what this blog about. It is ncessary for me after all these years of working and exposing to many minds, corporates, organizations, opportunities and cultures to say that writing is the secret to success. Yes, not everyeno could like it or get familiar with it, but to be able to express your ideas or sell it as we say in business language you have to write it well and structure it well, then let others read it and to absorb it. You can’t get the grades by talking or drawing unless you are a political or in an art workshop.
Frankly speaking, people should be good in listening, reading, talking and writing in order to fit in the modern working invironment. the tuoghest and most importabt skill out of these four is writing.
Say that this is my conclusion at an early stage for my kids, and something to work on for others whom are climping their ladders.
