تجربة روحانية

الأمس كان يوما طويلا .. بدأ في الساعة 730صباحا .. وخرجت من المكتب في الساعة 6 مساء .. مكتبنا يقع في مدينة الكويت في إحدى البنايات الجديدة في العاصمة . إلا أنه يقع بالقرب من مكتبنا مسجد قديم من مساجد الكويت القديمة والتي تحافظ حكومة الكويت على بقاء هذه المساجد كشواهد تاريخية . حين خروجي من المكتب بالأمس مرهقا سمعت أذان المغرب فتوجهت إلى المسجد لأصلي ولأزيح تعب اليوم بلقاء ربي وتزكية روحي وللخروج من أجواء العمل المادية إلى أجواء روحانية يحتاجها كل منغمس بالعمل مهما كانت خلفيته .

أنا من الأمور التي أحبها هو الصلاة في المساجد القديمة.. لأن فيها روحانية وسكينة من نوع خاص ، كما أن فيها من عبق التاريخ وبساطة الحياة مايطمئن الروح ويسكنها . المسجد هو مسجد بن حمد وهو فعلا من المساجد القديمة ، تشعر بقربه بالقدم من حين دخول المسجد إلى الخروج منه . سور المسجد بسيط ومتواضع وكأنه يدعوك لتجربة بسيطة في شكلها ولكن عيقة في أثرها .. الحوش الداخلي رحب وكبير لايشبه أي حوش من أحوشة المساجد الحديثة ، بل هو يشبه لحد كبير أحوشة البيوت الكويتية القديمة .. قاعة الصلاة صغيرة ومتواضعة ولكن تشعر معها بروحانية وسكينة لاتجدها في المساجد الحديثة ..

كانت تجربة طالما كررتها خاصة حين تكون أيام العمل مزدحمة مليئة بالاجتماعات والأرقام والتفاصيل ..

حملة وجوه من أجل لبنان

وبدأت الحملة ..
كانت فكرة من صديق له نشاط إعلامي في الأردن .. احتضنتها مجموعة إبصار الإعلامية في الكويت ، وهي الشركة القابضة التي تنضوي تحتها جميع شركاتنا العاملة ..
وذلك في تحرك تطوعي إعلامي ..

حيث يتعرض لبنان اليوم الى عدوان شرس وجبان ينال من اللبنانين الابرياء وينال من بنيته التحتية وسيارات الاسعاف والمستشفيات وكل ما هو جميل في لبنان الصمود. ولبنان الجميل مازال وسيبقى صامداً امام هذا العدوان السافر في كل ضيعة وهضبة، وفي كل قرية ومدينة. يجب أن نتذكر اهلنا في لبنان الصامدين المرابطين الذين بصمودهم هذا يكسرون عنجهية الجيش الاسرائلي الذي ما انفك يقصف بصاورخيه ودبابته على لبنان.

وجوه من أجل لبنان حملة فريدة من نوعها وحضارية نريد من خلالها أن نعرف للعالم بمدى الكارثة الانسانية ووحشية العدوان الذي يتعرض اليه لبنان. كما أن هذه الحملة التي من خلالها نتضامن ونشد على ايادي اللبنانين، نريد لها أن تلفت انتباه وسائل الاعلام العالمية والعربية أن للبنان اصدقاء أوفياء في كل مكان.

Realy worth to spend some time to read it, it is well written and covering a very important period in Kuwait history.

Can’t write about it!

Since the war in Lebanon started, although I check and hear the news about the war everyday, I avoided consciously to see the images of the dead bodies and the kids been killed. That was my attitude until today, I saw an image that I was not able to avoid or keep my eyes away from it. That was an image of a dead small child covered in dust from the rubble of his home that was hit in an Israeli missle strike in Qana.

It was a very sad moments that all the words or letters could not express my feelings or my anger.

There is a campaign to protest against the war in Lebanon that I liked. It is a good way to express our feelings and to show the world that we are all against this unfairness war.

Are you able to write it?

In business, writing is all what it is about. If you have a good idea that you spent a good time studying and checking it then it is time to sell it. If you can put it on paper that is 80% of getting the approval of it. However, the most difficult thing is to write what you have in mind. What I experienced that people could talk for hours about ideas, thoughts, goals and projects but very few who could structure it and express it on a white plain paper.

Putting what you have in mind in written also applied on any personal thing. What ever things we have in mind, putting it on paper will solve most of the problem.

The thing is that people don’t like writing. I used to tell my kids two things: Read & Write. Read to be able to feed your brain, and Write to be able to be organized and clear. Write it and you will see it. But of course, kids don’t always follow their parents wants and that unfortunately will graw with them.. the lack of writing what in mind.

The good thing is that writing is a skill that people could learn and develope. Many books in the market teach how to be a good writer or how to write a proposal. Yes, it is little bit bulky and sophisticated but it is good to get the concept of writing. It is never too late, beside that it is a good skill when people get old!

Writing

Writing for me is a tough job. I love writing since I was in the school and used to write some articles for my self and for the school newspaper. The problem is that I treasure writing too much because it is part of my mind to share it with others.

When I was young my writing was faster then now because it was a flow of my mind directly on paper, there was no fear or judgment of my writing. Now what I am writing is an opinion, a point of view, an idea to share, a thought to discuss and a way to express my personality so that’s why it is not an easy thing to do. Also, I have to admit it that I don’t have the capability and the time to write every day or in every situation.. I would love that but let’s be realistic here.

I named my blog emptypages because I am starting from a white page with no lines. The whole universe is a field for my pages. I may write.. I may draw.. you will find some ideas here.. I will comment along with your comments on some situations.. I may put some pictures (will write about my photography later).. and definitely you’ll find some Arabic calligraphy here (that’s my second habit by the way).

That’s enough for now. will start writing the first lines on my emptypages next time, so stay close.
